Hello - I am hoping a French speaking member on the Swiss Thread can assist me in my search for wheels for my 599 GTB. Here’s the ad that caught my attention:

If someone would be so kind as to verify that these wheels are available and whether the vendor would be willing to ship to the USA, preferably after having the tires dismounted, that information would be greatly appreciated. The wheels I am in search of are Ferrari p/n 256740 (front HGTE version). They are no longer available through Ferrari and have been impossible to find. Never used it but Touring Garage Imboden in Brig has a longterm relationship with Ferrari since 1968. I've read several articles in the print media about them. A book was published in 2019.

Is there any good spots to drive and meet for “Cars and coffee”? I know the US car community is good at more or less regular meets.

I know Ace Cafe in Luzern. Where else do people drive and “kick tires”?

Also other beautiful places to drive like coffee at the terrace of Villa Honegg, Brunnen etc. - would be appreciated.

Maybe we could maintain a list of destinations and meets/events around beautiful CH?

 

We drive and eat miles… we don’t kick tires over here

 

There are many nice spots. The following come to my mind immediately:

- Bürgenstock hotel (near Lucerne)
- Dolder Grand hotel (Zurich)
- Eden Roc / Marina hotel (Ascona)
- Viktoria Jungfrau hotel (Interlaken)
- Park hotel Vitznau (Vitznau)

You regularly spot supercars there, but there are no cars & coffee events to my knowledge.

Looking for a recommendation for refinishing 3 piece Speedline wheels in the Zurich area. The wheel centers need new paint, the rims polished and the lettering "Speedline", "Ferrari" and the wheel dimensions need to be preserved and enhanced. Wheels also need to be resealed as one is slightly losing air. Thanks.

My family and I have been in Lucerne and Geneva for several weeks and provided so could figure out logistics, this country and these regions are a place we can see ourselves relocating to in a few years

C est dommage que nous ne soyons pas vu sur la Piste

Any Swiss gentleman here who know Elite garage Zuzwil?
Or does anyone live close to them and could put eyes on a 456?

 

Elite Garage in Zuzwil is a large second hand dealer with about 1 000 cars in stock. Personally, I would only buy a car from them if I could not find it at any other dealer. And if you do so I would perform a PPI in any case.
