I am trying to find out if there are different Veglia Borletti tach's installed at the factory over the years. The spares list only mentions one type (68-3579) but i have seen at least two different types based on the behaviour and electronics (newer ones somewhat after '72/'73 seem to be more discerning about the signal quality/duty cycle and can jump or drop to zero with a mediocre signal).

Could you do me a favour and post or mail ([email protected]) the model type of your tach, together with the car's build number. The model number is printed on the dial above the 5000 RPM line, you have to look from below to see it as it is partially hidden by the bezel. M and L series seem to have used tachs without this number (thanks Matthias!), this is also of interest to me.

    Cheers,
    Adrian

Just check 4 Dino's to look for this. After not seeing anything, I went back with a flashlight and lying towards the floorboard and still nothing other than a couple of slight white marks, which you see in your photo. S/N's are 03930, 07010, 07714, and 08468. 3 US spec cars and one Swiss (07010), all look the same to me from basic glance.

Guys, thanks for your posts! Interesting to see that the Dino logo seems to have been introduced when the part number was dropped, somewhere between 2600 and 3930.

Any owners in that area which can fill the gap?

    Cheers,
    Adrian
