Geez, how do turn the Russian commentary that speaks over the English off?

Yeah I noticed that after I posted it.

 

I think she could have done better if the testatossa run was after the countach. And I believe the countach wider tires helped with the wet conditions.
But I don’t want to spoil it for the people who hasn’t seen it.
it is a very nice tribute!!!

Shame it was wet for the test. To me its not terribly indicative of anything other than what we already knew, the Lambo is faster

 

A 5000qv or newer? Big difference versus other Countach’s. The power difference versus a TR alone is pretty extreme. Nearly 25%.

Yes I agree a 512TR is different but thats not what the test was.

 

Did somebody notice that the tach and the speedo were inverted?
Is this a RHD thing??

Yes, it has a lot less hp and heavier than the Downdraft.

 

Well maybe taking the TR 2000 miles to the Sahara took a toll on the car!!

That’s not a downdraft. Big difference at 455hp for a Downdraft QV.

 

Downdraft came to production in 85. The TR is 92, so that would be a contemporary of the Diablo. That said, I’d still take the Downdraft over the TR.

The Countach in the previous comparo is an ‘81 4 liter car.

 

According to that video that countach has 375cv and is more comparable (although I believe that is not a LP400, it looks more like a LP500)
But The “downdraft” version of the Countach (in the GT episode) had 455cv so there is no contest there. I think they should have addressed that fact in the episode

What I find amusing is how we feel a bit offended that the Countach kicked our asses haha
BUT YES I do feel offended
1 they were not comparable models in power
2 the Countach had way better tires
Anyways I have always loved the Countach, but at 400k I prefer my 100k TR (and going UP!!!!!)

Both great classic 12 cylinders imo the tr is the better driver countach has spiked in prices tr day will come red head imo is the winner

 

If you want to compare a 512 tr than it would be vs a diablo vt

 

I’ve driven the 512 tr n m and owned a 94 vt and the vt would pull away both great exotics
