    1. Nico needs to find some pace
    2. Red bull need to be given a decent engine
    3. Mclaren need more chances to upgrade
    4. Kimi needs to be fired so Ferrari have 2 competitive drivers in their cars
    5. More emphasis in bringing in champions from other formulas (stoffel missing out)

    I know there are more

1 Nico better leave Mercedes. He will NEVER be a WC besides Hamilton
    2 fully agree
3 Not only Mclaren but in general a lot of the current restictions on upgrading, and testing, should be lifted
4 fully agree, his bag of lousy excuses has long run out. Biggest mistake of Feerari this year to sign him up for '16
5 Not agree, F1 should represent the best drivers. Let all who are not in F1 now proof beyond doubt and there will be a spot for them.

    I would add,
Go back to more one A4 rule books. Fans without a college degree should be able to understand it again too. Go back to put the driver on the wheel, not the pit "offices"
Go back to a free engine formula. Promote and support smart solutions, take away any VETO rights of anyone with a personal stake. allow 1 car teams allow 3 car teams, both will be an addition to the field. 30 cars racing beats 20 every time.

I know there will be much more

    4. Always liked Kimi, but Ferrari need to bring back Alonso while he still has some good years left. No one gave such a Herculean effort with a less-than-stellar car. Kim will waste Ferrari's time next year; a Vettel/Alonso pairing would be tough to beat...

Only if they had a car capable of taking the fight to Mercedes at every race!

Lewis Hamilton hasn't found it too tough to beat Vettel at most races this season, so why would he find it any tougher beating Vettel and Alonso in Ferraris if the cars performance was as far off the Mercedes' pace in 2016 as it has been this season?

Agreed, the car needs to improve, especially for qualifying. That deficit really hampered Alonso's time at Ferrari...

    Allow unlimited in season testing

Maybe red bull should try building their own engine

Alonso is in the twilightof his career. Just retire already. Same for kimi.

More anti kimi bs from toilet.

He's 4th in the championship, he's made mistakes, the team has made mistakes (probably more on Kimi's hand atm though). He's had quite good speed most of the season in races.

Putting alonso in the seat is going to be counter productive; he'll just throw his toys out of the pram or worse, sabotage. Ferrari has something special with Vettel. The team loves him, most of the tifosi love him...never could honestly be said about Alonso when he was at Ferrari I think. There was still a large ferrari fanbase that did not enjoy him.

What some of you keep forgetting is that Ferrari doesn't need 2 teammates battling each other for the title. They need 1 driver to go for it, and the other to finish 2nd. Ferrari is 2nd best team. Kimi is 4th overall. Appropriate. Could have had more points if he hadn't made as many mistakes, and the team...but he would still be in 4th place, just a bit closer to Rosberg/Vettel, but not able to catch them.

In restrospect, Ferrari has done well this year, and it's not over yet.
    I didn't expect 3 wins this realy!
Both drivers did well too, albeit Kimi is not so consistant. They work well together which is good.

I expect the Scuderia to keep up the fight and challenge Mercedes more next year.

Apart from the sudden miracle at McLaren-Honda I have been praying for, I cannot see any other team than Ferrari able to threaten Mercedes.

4th in standings by a long way back is not good. Ferrari should be 3 and 4 in every race and in tracks where they are suited better than merc at least 1 and 3 or 2 and 3 (Kimi unlikely to beat Hamilton even with a pace advantage). Ferrari are far behind due to Kimi it's a fact.

All f1 needs is to allow testing. Teams will only ever be able to spend what they can afford, so it really doesn't matter on cost. The big teams will test more, the small teams less. The knock on effect is not just performance for the big teams, as their testing will make engines and components more reliable and find performance gains in general - this will also benefit the teams using their engines etc without costing those smaller teams a penny.

Offer three compounds of tyres, and unlimited numbers, allowing teams to use what they like, and how many they like. If a team wants to use a super super soft that lasts two laps, buts ten seconds faster, and go through eight sets, do it, make it interesting. All using the same strategy was never f1's way, it was once a skill to try to guess the strategy teams would use to negate areas of weakness they might have (remember Michael at France one year doing four stops, didn't have the pace on two or three with the tyres once they wore, four tyre stops allowed him qualifying pace to beat Mika)
