    I can honestly say that I was a Shumy fan prior to him joining Ferrari. When he put the Jordan in the top 10 qualifying at his first race, just a shame that his clutch let him down in the race. At that point I thought if he could do that in a Jordan lets see what he could do in a Ferrari. Needless to say it was an epic time with him behind the wheel.

    Me too, he was awesome in that load of rubbish...... as soon as he finished his practice runs everyone knew he was destined for great things. I met Ross brawn at a dinner party and he was raving about schumi having signed for Bennetton..... maybe it was the time because when schumi had his time, his ethic and style matched exactly where F1 was going at the time, and without the guys of that era (Brawn, Byrne, newey, heck, even todt), I think we’d be seeing an even poorer F1 by now, they brought the sport into the mass marketing behemoth it became. Unfortunately, some guy with a dodgy tache is going the right way to pull it all apart.
