I posted this thread in the "TEXAS" section, as it is more relevant there, but if anyone would like to help out, i would greatly appreciate it. If nothing else, how can you beat a story of an heiress and her nephew acquitted in her husband's murder after they are having an affair and who buys ferrari's as gifts http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127048
Shawn, this might be an instance where some time in the local library would help. Dig through the microfiche from newspapers, look for references to the story from that time. A lot of papers really haven't gotten their old stuff on line yet. Sounds like a cool history, keep us up to date on what you find out. Dave
I vaguely recall the Mosler murder scandal because Mrs. M. spent some time in the Phipps (psychiatric) Clinic at Johns Hopkins Hospital here in Baltimore thereafter, but never heard the Ferrari angle. My brother worked there Summers during prep school in the '60's, and she was a patient during that time.
being from houston, it shows how time heals all wounds. only the tenured houstonians remember the events. it seems that candace mosler had numerous other problems as well. from my basic "googling" she overdosed on sleeping pills and was depressed quite often.
