The tyre situation next year should be "interesting." Todt says no decision for weeks

Teams are already getting antsy about getting actual tyres to put in the wind tunnel, and now this. Uncertainty certainly does throw a big variable into the mix, making the playing field more random, but I'm not sure a roll of the dice is what should determine the drivers' championship, or even the constructors'. Who will happen to have the chassis that best suits the tyres they wind up with? If this goes on very long I might take a flyer on Mike Gascoyne.
