Thank God for that, but I wish it was permanant.... *praying ol' Todd will log in with under another name*
It's not funny ... it's pitiful that you guys would bait someone until things got unreasonable and then laugh about it like little boys. G
Don't jump in the middle of something and make accusations without having all of the facts (i.e. the other threads that this troll has posted on where he constantly put down other people's girlfriends and cars). This was only the last straw.
The guys in the Canadian section can tell you how I loathe this car. This Boxer can be seen at various expositions in and around Montreal. More comments can be read from post 14 and on... http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61683 Ugly is too good of a word. A few synonyms and related words from Merriam-Webster: "grotesque, hideous, homely, ill-favored, unappealing, unattractive, unbeautiful, unhandsome, unlovely, unpleasing, unpretty, unsightly, vile, disgusting, repugnant, repulsive, revolting; unimposing, unprepossessing, unimpressive; plain, unaesthetic, unbecoming, unshapely" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
To be fair, unlike the TR/512s, that car didn't leave the factory that way and, as this and the current shields thread will evidence, there is simply no accounting for personal "taste".
I figured he was joking. Really, if you: 1) Tried to compile all the comments of all the critics on the internet; then, 2) Actually cared about their opinions. everyone one of us would look like total losers. I mean everyone. “Got a Ferrari…oh but it’s only a Mondial? Loser!!” “Got a 430? Who you trying to impress…oh yeah, and it’s ugly!” …and so on.. Just on this thread alone I have read comments that were NO joke. Ok, don’t like the Mondial? Fine, I do but some others don’t. Don’t like the 308/328? Wow, now you are really on the fringe, but so what. Some people like things such as velvet portraits of Elvis and mullets. To each his own. His summary was based on stuff I have actually read. But, I have no problem with the comments as they were lampooning all the a-holes on the net with there self righteous opinions.
Huh? 355 and 348 are more similar than you think. I think the 360 was more of a departure, the 355 was more of an evolution of the 348. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To each their own. If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, find an ugly girl and make her your wife, that is my personal point of view, so find an ugly girl to marry you!
The 348/355 are visually identical above the beltline; the 355 softened the forms of the front fascia, deleted the 'cheese graters'* (regretable 'legacies' of the untenable TR/512s), the rear tailights were changed from slatted rectilinear forms (probably intended to echo the 'cheese graters') to a pair of dual rounds, and a aerodynamic element was added to the rear fascia. I'd be genuinely surprised to learn that the front and read fenders, hood, roof, and engine covers were not entirely interchangeable, excepting some non-obvious chassis re-engineering or sub-surface aerodynamic development. *I'm given to understand these monstrosities were "dictated" by some obtuse Swiss and or German pedestrian-coddling bureacratic idiocy, but I have to believe an better solution would have been found by an even cursory canvas of 'the man in the Emilian street'.
F 50 looks too much like a child's toy and no enough like a car for my taste. I am also one of those who think the Enzo is ugly.
