I said before I don't think there is a car or a mechanic. Probably Matteo returning. Maybe this 348 will need to go to Classiche for a full resto to repair it.

That's a name you don't hear too often. I've often wondered what name he's under on this site.

The OP is a long time, silver subscribed member so I doubt his post was simply an attempt at trolling.

Any updates Ralph??? What can you tell us?

Actually I was off topic when I said that and do honestly wonder what became of him. But this situation with a belt failure is legit regardless if we hear from him again on the subject.

How can you be sure it is legit? Do you know the OP? I just find it hard to believe Simone would just let this go on without moving to an answer.

I don't think Ralph is going to give everyone a play by play. He is probably working on a solution and will let everyone know when its done.

Hey, why is it bothering you so much? You said earlier that you thought there was no car or mechanic.

It has been confirmed to my satisfaction (privately) that there is a car and an issue. To answer your question it is like reading a who dun it and finding out the last chapter is missing. (This happened on an episode of M*A*S*H)

Doesn't help. The fact that facebook exists proves this. You always want to know "The rest of the story"

Maybe it is time for us to move on (if the op is not going to give us any answers) but many here want the final diagnosis of this situation so they can learn from it and hopefully avoid the issue themselves. This is especially true for the DIY group here that fix/maintain their own cars.
