Body looks like fiberglass? https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/auto/296-gtb?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2021_FerrariCarLaunchJune&utm_content=REVEAL&idm=7ea53485ab3dffcdc81c08e854072d26&ids=15148c149200799ff749603b50cc16b1cdbbddec68d4e9393de833e77d641f8d IO'd take that over the 430-through 488.
Not bad, but I'm not a big fan of those vertically stacked rectangular headlights and angular air intakes which break up the flowing lines. I wonder if it has the same dimensions as the 348 and 355?
Internet, your connected to it. Of course its not an official price, one has to assume the article has a source to publish it. https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/cars/article-9721057/Ferraris-game-changing-green-V6-hybrid-296-GTB-supercar-revealed.html
I don’t know if I’m right or not- just reporting what I read. I’m not sure what the correct price should Be….
I just looked at a new Turbo S and it's priced at $261k so that $277k price sounds about right. No room in my garage for this and I won't be trading what I have for it either.
I'm sure the car is great, I'm sure the performance is great, but am I the only person that has zero interest in a hybrid, let alone one with a V6? This is just emissions regulations driven. I would rather just go straight to a full on electric car than strap a battery and electric motor to a V6 turbo.
The 277k is just the starting price of the F8 and R&T thinks the new V6 will be priced above the F8 price number.
With 830 hp it's significantly above the 720 hp F8, so it will most probably be more expensive. In France there is a 30K € "green" penalty on the F8, which the 296 will not get because it's hybrid; I wonder how final prices will be managed by Ferrari...
This is the ballpark pricing my dealer said is most likely. I like the design, especially the rear. If one can be spec'd nicely under $350k, I have interest in placing an order. If base pricing is in the mid 3's pushing a nicely spec'd car into the 4's, I lose interest.
I like the design, but I don't love it. Better than the 488 and F8 as a design, IMO. Not convinced about the hybrid aspect. Not as pure and perfect as my 360 Modena, though.
