Well we got the motor to the machine shop today and not looking good for getting it back very quick, I guess it's race season here and everyone in SE Kansas has a motor in the shop!! I'm hoping for the end of the month but it's not sounding good.....

Thats the only thing is when you find someone thats good at something everyone else knows about them then you have to wait your turn. But I promise it will be done before winter. (I hope)

Well my wife had to take me to the ER last night. Because a great guy let me drive his G part of the way home yesterday and I cant get the smile off my face. The doctors said there was nothing they could do.

Got the cam today and valve springs and the bearing kit for the stock rocker arm upgrade in today. I went with a .558/.563 valve lift and .006 265/271 tappet lift as recommended by Comp cams and what Randy figured up with a downloaded program from comp cams site.

I know I want to push him but I don't want to piss him off either, cause I know I gotta start getting the miles on it as well for the tune.

Got the motor back to my house tonight. Plan on getting the motor put back together, installing it and having it running by Monday.

Don't think we'll have it running by Monday since we still have to order a couple of lines that are possibly fuel lines from Chevy.
