I sold Tiana this silver VY V6 Commodore around 3 years ago. Doesn't look like she ever registered it, but she's still got it and also owns that blue VE Commodore I sold her a few months ago and another Holden Captiva wagon I sold her around 2 years ago or so.

She lives in Lake Nash, but is in town at the moment. She called me and told me the fuel pump in her car **** itself and asked if I could get her a new one as she has to get back to Lake Nash for a funeral on Friday.

Pump was $479 retail, Pappy got it for her for $300. She asked if she could pay $200 today and $100 next Wednesday, no worries, it's all good.

I just dropped the fuel pump off to her wearing my favourite new shirt and Tiana says "Jimmy, I didn't know you were aboriginal" lol

I told her I wasn't, but I loved this new shirt lol.

I then asked her if she voted yes yet and she said no, she didn't understand it so her community elders told her not to vote yes it if she didn't understand. So her and her family and many others in the community voted no because no one has told them anything out there.

I told her that's good and I voted no also because we don't know what we are voting for, so **** em lol. She laughed and I left as I had to pick the kids up from school.

I love my new shirt.

That's the problem

 

I had a conversation with a "Yes" T-Shirt wearing retired academic in a café regarding the Voice. She gave a very convincing and erudite synopsis of the proposed constitutional amendment. She was also very receptive of my "No" stance and what I had to say and at the end of the conversation. My last question was "What laws will be made under the Voice and what powers these laws will have?"

She replied; "Just vote Yes, with your heart"

 

And vote No with your head

 

I voted with my pen.

 

All very good, but was she hot?

 

I think Albo has really made a mess of this for the "Yes" brigade. Being so heavily politicised, it's now really difficult to follow the sentiment amongst the insults and demeaning rhetoric. However I can't help feeling the "Yes" brigade in attempting to vilify the "No" have actually divided the nation without actually attempting to do so.
