Roebourne traditional owners lament town's division in fight against FMG - ABC News I cannot believe that Twiggy Forrest, a proud Whadjuk man and the social concience of our nation, dudded his beloved blackfellas for $300 million. Of course, the law suit is not about the money..
Todays non partisan effort by the ABC,in Mt Isa: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-08-20/queensland-indigenous-voice-referendum-misinformation-mt-isa/102744202
Yep, that is the general consensus here. A little bit of no idea and a little bit of no one gives a ****. My old auto-elect Billy B, his Dad works for QLD Government with Aboriginal's in the communities and even they don't know WTF is going on.
Even the brainwashed young-uns are starting to wake up. If this thing falls over, I’m going to put money in Jacinta Nampijinpa Price being our PM within a few years. It will be richly deserved and I reckon she’ll be excellent and bring the country together far more than any divisive “voice” would. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The only ones around my area are the old hags and their ex-public servant husbands. Even the young I talk to are saying Nah .
Interesting that only 33% overall of men support it. That suggests that it’s only (certain) women propping it up at all. And I can bet why that is - social media and the fear of being ostracised. Blokes don’t tend to give a schitt about that sort of thing. Well, real blokes, anyway.
Where it has fallen down is social media -far more pages of NO then Yes according to an article I read .
I’m looking forward to joining a class action by shareholders against any company that idiotically supported this rubbish and donated millions of dollars of our money to a cause we never backed.
Yep an Industry, You would be surprised how much Noel Pearson is worth ..far more than what a so-called lawyer-activist should be worth!
Yep. As was beautifully skewered in a superb article today by Jacinta: Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’d say there’s a pretty big “gap” between these inner-city activist “indigenous” people and the average family in Elizabeth, or any of the other struggling areas of Australia. What do they propose to close this gap? Or does it only matter when one is of (or claims to be of) a certain race?
Well, the far left never apologise, do they! Too busy reading QANTAS balance sheets and unable to understand where the yearly net profit came from..
