OK my L'ville F-chat buddies... some of you know that I just joined the "inner circle", but I am waiting on the new horse to get delivered into the stable.

I just couldn't close the deal on several TR's and 512TR's. I really like these cars. They look the part, act the part and just scream "get out of my way".

Well I turned my attention to another car in a similar price range, the 360 Modena. So here is what I bought... 2000 360 Modena, 6 speed, Argento Nurburgring, Bordeaux Interior (Daytona seats), Argento Challenge Grill, 19" Titanium Challenge Wheels, Lowered to Euro Spec.

The car really looks sharp. I flew out to Phoenix (Tempe) to see it over at Evolution MotorSports who is who I had do the PPI and some "discretionary work" on it. By the way, EVOMS is just an incredible shop and Robert over there is a first class guy. Takes the time to get to know you, knows his stuff (both P-cars and F-cars) and runs an awesome shop (one of the top P-tuning shops in the country, if not THE shop).

Anyway, we are waiting on some wheel spacers to finish out the car and then it will get loaded into a trailer and shipped. I can see an "Italian only" party at my place in April when the weather breaks. Until then, I can continue to look for another car to buy :)

Hope everyone had a great Holiday.

    Jim

I think more garage space would be the first thing in order.

Its got a Tubi, Matt. Not sure what stage, but it will be great to compare to your stage 3 Capristo to see how they both sound in comparison.

Earlycat... that looks like a Fiat 850 Sport Coupe. Maybe 1970 or 71?

  15. 1971. I can't believe I bought that thing, like it is, in Vegas & shipped it back.

So much for "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas". It IS very cool in its own way, though, and the rarity factor must be off the charts...

    Jim,
That car is smokin' hot. You are going to have so much fun.

As for the garage space, sell the house in the breeding colony and buy yourself a proper spread with a real stable for your horsepower. Then you would have room for your friends to keep their toys there as well. Charge a fee, depreciate a building - now you might have some tax advantages. See, this is a good financial decision. Sell your wife on this and then come see me about some real estate!

    Super J,
Yes. We think alike, but alas no desire to move right now. If you come across some property by my place to build a pole barn on let me know, or a small warehouse (~2000sqft) would work. No more breeding for me!
