The wait....

Going to the docks on Monday morning with a friend as he gets his 599 GTB.....was supposed to arrive last monday but didnt so you can imagine this week has felt very long.....even though its not my car I have been waiting for months after we specced the car, thanks to F Chat the interior is very interestingly specced thats all I can say....am actually a bit nervous to see how this combination will turn out..

Also bucked the trend for challenge wheels insted went for the standard wheels. Been watching and reading everything I have on the 599 over the last week or so....

For both my friend and I this will be first V12 Ferrari either of us have driven or been in....so not sure what to expect....

Sorry am rambling on ridiculously.....but this wait....

 

I know....the waiting sometimes can be hard and painful, but soon it will all be over and the pressure will be off your chest and instead....you will be in a state of trance .

 

True but will then have to wait for the PDI to be done before we can fill the center of Cape Town with the sound of a Ferrari V12......on a side note my friend has been considering taking the 430 Challege on the road......

I thought I heard that they are no longer offering the challenge style wheels. Is that true?

 

Thats an interesting one, because I was at my local Ferrari dealer and mentioned that there was a story about Challenge wheels no longer being availible due to a supplier issue and they apparently knew nothing about it....

Will enquire more though...
