It’s big and that’s an understatement. I always wanted a big rambling home and as it turned out, suits our life well right now. My elderly parents moved in after dad had a stroke, and with kids coming and going, often a household of seven. Found some pics from when we were renovating, rear view from where the garage is now. Three storeys at the back with servants quarters at the bottom (now Ian’s nursery). Has a ballroom too, essential in 1912 apparently [emoji12] Other pic is the the stove going in, 400kg. Never heard tradies swear that much in my life [emoji1787] Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Well done to the folk preserving these magnificent old places... like Bentleys, I wouldn't want to own own but would hate to see them disappear - keep up the good work guys!
She's a beauty mate! I grew up in a small house with my Brother and parents and I live in a small 3 bedroom house now with my family. I have always wanted a big home also after growing up and living in small homes for the last 40 years lol. I will build a BIG house when I leave this place one day for the exact same reasons you mentioned. I assume my Wife's parents will move in one day when they are old and frail and I reckon my kids will come and go as they like also, which will give me a house hold of 7 when everyone is at home. So I will definitely need the room and have already found the 6 bedroom 5 bathroom house I would like to build when the time comes lol.
Yes, built as a single family home. Does look like a school from the back, front is more ornate and "home" looking. It was divided up into 6 flats in the 1950s and turned back into a single dwelling during the 90s
