soft bags only in a vette - there's no boot lid, so the bags are in the cabin with you, on a rear shelf which is perfectly designed for any objects on it to break your neck in an accident Image Unavailable, Please Login

not my car, just a file photo. My interior is original, so the 52 year old carpet is a little faded, but otherwise in great condition. Even the genuine vinyl seats are unmarked! Image Unavailable, Please Login
That’s a testament to American car manufacturers 52 years ago, full of charm and made to lastof course it helps if enthusiasts like yourself ensure their kept in top condition, good for you looks lovely Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It's the things you can't see that are the real measure of quality and durability. The seat frames, springs and foam are still perfect whereas in an Italian car they'd be sagged and falling apart. Whatever foam Ferrari used in the 60's and 70's to put behind dash padding and headliners turns to dust in 25 years. I was looking at Greg's BMW Z3 the other day which has the dash out at the moment - the welding on the steel dash frame is neat and clean, even though it's hidden. The Italians do bird-sh*t welding wherever they can get away with it.
Of course I’ve got little to compare it to but the 360,s seem ok, I had the door apart the other day and they look well made ,of course time will tell, my seats have little “cushion” left in the bum mind you and the front compartment carpet is pretty average for a then $420,000 Ferrari, the leathers good but again and perhaps it’s the climate or lack of care with previous owners badly worn on the drivers seat bolstering as you’ve seen from previous pics but the drivetrain and body are fantastic . Time will tell Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Y'see how the 'Vette (and other yanks of the era) seats are flat and the consol is on the same plane.....well thats 'cos when yer cornering hard (that's an oxymoron BTW,in that car) yer can drive the car from either side of the cockpit as yer slide around it !
Have you considered that the centre of the seat compresses when you sit on it? Italian seats use stitching to compress foam into shape, Corvette has inner springs like a mattress, to shape to your butt. Another Zora Duntov innovation. console and seats on the same plane? what an outrage... Image Unavailable, Please Login
