Last year there was a news item where a guy had been swimming the Robina lake for 25+ years and people said he was nuts, he told them they were worrying unnecessarily and he got taken by a bull shark http://www.couriermail.com.au/ipad/sharks-infest-lake-where-man-vanished/news-story/991f39cfdf30f1a87676920f73c96af2?nk=f6d1f930e61bf62c65ee3c0977479586-1527337249
Turn it up, you ****s! We have great mud crabs here that everyone can get bag fulls of just up the road. SA has some of the best seafood in the world. Flying into Port Lincoln today, I’ve never seen so many Tuna pens just outside the bay. Must have been at least 40. So STFU. (Gee this scotch is going down well...)
Look, just leave out the derogatory stuff regarding religion and all the world would be a happier place.....even when said in popular jest. Some of us have had to Ffaaarck with it for years.
My Bride's fave. As for something more "common" to USAn's - Pacific Cod - How does Blue Eye compare? "I am weak-ish on snatch" ~ joker57676
You mean all of us, mud gets thrown at all religious groups by all sides. The world would be a happier place without religion
Well I have for a fair chunk of my life - never had a problem! Always bought fresh fish in the local wet market (hung sam yiu mostly). Cheesed me off no end that i could buy better, cheaper Mooloolaba prawns in Kennedy Town than I can in Coolum! I don't get why Jewfish would be anymore prone to worms than any other fish in the same area? And ciguaratera (sp?) is from an accumulation of toxin from eating too many, large, reef fish (one of the few real fears I have - the thought of never being able to eat seafood again is terrifying).
Well sort of. The fish most common is the Chinaman, lovely looking red reef jobby but you can't touch 'em. https://www.fishingcairns.com.au/ciguatera-poisoning/
