It was actually done deliberately, back in 90s I think, to try and 'modernise' the party from being just a 'workers' party.

Interesting you should mention the interior Steve, the colour your searching for is actually Blu Scuro. It’s so exclusive Captain Mark Philips had a saddle fashioned in the rare colour for his daughter Zara’s dressage mount “Toytown” , interestingly after just a week of using the beautiful Blu Scuro saddle the normally gentle gelding became aggressive and in the words of family friend, “quite randy!”, the royal vet was called and after a thorough examination and blood tests of her mount it was revealed that the dye used in the colouring of the Blu Scuro saddle was in fact making its way into the horses nervous system via sweat glands causing the gelding to produce FSH or Follicle stimulating hormone even though the horse had no genitalia, this anomaly led to a landmark study of the effects of the exclusive Blu Scuro dye on geldings, leading to a full centre spread on the subject in Horse and Hound. You’re ****in mad. Nice horse story though. Love reading Horse and Hound. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Interesting explanation Adrian. So if indeed your interior is actually the claimed blu scuro leather you mention and not black (which seems to be the going conception) the dye entering through your sweat glands should then make you "quite randy". Now since your not walking around with a boner we can then safely say that interior is indeed black and not blu scuro. I guess its myth busted
Apparently it only reacts with horses, I’ve never personally been afflicted Steve, imagine trying to explain that to a copper while being pulled over... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
