I do this every year and for 2006:

    8,180 Miles driven
    15mpg average
    550 gallons of gas used
at a cost of $1400 (gas only)
avg cost $2.57 (mostly NJ prices)

Compare this to 2004 (couldn't find last years numbers)
    =========================================
I drove the Ferrari just over 8004 miles last year
used 532 gallons of Hi-test gas
    paid an average of $2.04/gal
    and averaged 15mpg.

    Rob,

I would have thought that the Vette would get at least 2 MPG......

Nah. Rob drives it silly fast. He's able to make point 2 past light speed in under 100ns.

Clyde, interesting info. If you don't mind me asking, do you also have maintenance/service info for the year?

I won't post that info. It might scare others away from owning a Ferrari ;)

There's probably a newer thread, but figured why not here

Just dropped my 100,000 '83 308 at AutoElite for her major.
I wont be driving her any more this year, so let's close it out

    Drove only 495 miles
    used 43 gals of gas
    avg 11.5 mpg (Exxon Regular)
fuel costs = $87 which is $2.02/gal avg.

Kudos to her, she hit 100K this year and she still turns heads.

Hi Clyde! Look what the cat dragged in. ;)
WOW! So 495 miles this year vs. 8000+ 14 years ago. Right there with you. Esp. in 2020, not a lot of driving to gatherings.
I still get the Mondi and the Boxer out every few weeks to get fluids hot but the miles per year .... man, division is cruel.
