The Yorkville Exotic Car Show (July 10, 2010)

I went on to FCA east and central Canada but could not find any info on the yorkville Car show other than the date ditto for the Aug 17 Track day...? Am I missing something? How do I find out more info on events ...time especially, who's coming etc....?

why does the enzo not have sponsorship?

id of thought that would be snapped up?

Someone said the enzo might not turn up...is that why?

When I spoke to the owner a couple of weeks ago he told me he would be there.

 

It's sponsored now. FWIW I too was told by the owner he is absolutely going to be there.

9:30-11:00 - Cars start to roll in and park

11:00-5:00 - Cars are parked and you enjoy the show

5:00-5:30 - The cars will start to leave

Also wanted to add that this will be a televised event with many reporters and news paper photographers covering the event.

 

Gonna try and make an effort to come by on Saturday around noon.

Having it on Yorkville Ave. definitely makes my wife more interested in tolerating the car show!

I can spend some quality time with the cars, and she can spend some quality time with my credit card in the stores......You win some and lose some! LOL

 

Lucas, maybe ill see you there dude. Ill be the big Portuguese guy mounted on the back of the GT1.

 

No 'dry humping' allowed ...!! LOLL This is a family event Vasco.





BTW......Did you take the Portuguese soccer flags off your car yet ?

 

Vasco & Lucas I want to see if you guys really exist--introduce yourselves to me, I have the yellow 355GTS

 

Mario, ill try my best to make it. And trust me, the 355 is the very last of the Classic Ferraris in my opinion (althought the new ones are nice of course). So I will definetly say hello and check out your ride that I have seen sooo many times in pics.

Mario..I'm hoping to be there around 2-3 pm today. I'll keep my eye open for the Yellow GTS....and a hung over Portuguese guy with a Porsche fetish. (Vasco) LOL

Did the Enzo show up?

 

The wife and I showed up around 4pm......pretty good turnout of Porsches and Ferrari's.

Saw the yellow 355 GTS..but Mario was not around. The Enzo, and the 16M were great. I ran into a friend of mine, who unfortunately DIDN'T bring his F40 to the show.

There was also an amazing Black/Black Murcielago with a Carbon Fibre wing and rear end....Stunning car.

And I didn't spot Vasco either....Although the police told me some guy wearing a Portuguese soccer jersey was arrested for trying to mount the GT1 from the rear....
