There's a decent car for sale in the UK (also discussed in previous FChat threads) for £45,000 - around $67,000. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/365-gt4-2-2-400-412/399566-big-bucks-365gt4-uk.html

This is outwardly a more original car which is less "blinged up" although also appears to have non standard issues.

Ferraris for Sale by Rosneath Engineering, independent Ferrari specialists on Kent / Sussex border

Prices in the UK vary from the US but few of these come up for sale so I thought you may like a comparison.

I don't know if 52 is out of line or not, but that is one very clean looking car all around :).

    Good day Dogdoc,

The car presents very well. The only issues (relatively minor) I could see is the interior (looks to be a series 1 400 series) and possibly some Federalization changes. I say the latter because the car does sport Federalization-style side marker lights.

As for the dealer... I had a chat with them (last December) and although they seemed OK I found them a little eccentric. Secondly, they were not overly truthful either in that they told me that they purchased the car from an older fellow and they had the car for about a year ... which is completely untrue, as the car sold at Barrett Jackson last September for $44K (total to buyer). That being said this oversight could have been a simple mistake on their part.

    Cheers,

    Sam
