Thermocouple ECU

I bypassed them and installed HyperFlow cats without the thermocouple. Car sounded incredible and no more engine lights. See my post here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/348-355/153026-hyper-flows-tubi-348-engine.html

 

Good for you. Probably no real need to know if you have a fuel injector or misfire problem.

My thoughts exactly. When the "warning" system is far more problematic than the very system it's monitoring combined with the fact they are 3-4 hundred bucks a side ? Get rid of them, your engine ecu's won't know the difference. If you are really keen on monitoring your exhaust temps you can purchase a very nice dual EGT guage with probes for less than the cost of replacing one original Ferrari cat temp ecu. Just my opinion I may be wrong. I'm referring to the Mondial/348 system.
