    Does anyone have each good picture of where the thermostat is located r can tell me I am noticing that my 88 328 will not get up to temp , my engine has a miss like fuel is not burning proper I want to see if it is stuck open . am I on the right track.

    Open the hood of the car.
    Stand to the right rear fender and find a water pump in between the timing belt covers (L and R)
    Right above that water pump, is a dome shape thing 3 inches wide. That is the Tstat housing.

    yes, or just check behind the airbox, the dome shaped housing got a little copper bleed screw on top of that housing and is inline or next to a clamped short hose(black)
