Thermostat Warning

Be careful if you use a napa thermostat in your 308. I bought one and yes it does fit but it will not open all the way correctly as open there is not enough depth clearance (on a 77 308). Just noticed as I was putting things back together and it is very easy to overlook. Gasket doesn't fit worth a crap either. Have now ordered the correct one and gasket from Ricambi. Sometimes it is just not worth the aggrovation of going aftermarket...............................
