Isn't it funny... Most of us on the board are very passionate about our cars even with all their idiosyncrasies, this is why we bought the cars in the first place. The fact that there is a voluminous Tech section and so many helpful suggestions and advice shows that they require again a committment and a passion to keep them at their best, regardless of the model and year. Check the Webster's definition: Passion: noun a: ardent affection : love b: a strong liking or desire for or devotion to some activity, object, or concept c: an object of desire or deep interest I don't see anywhere that passion requires desparaging or demeaning others. Perhaps the ones that like to bash other people's passions have "issues" of their own that go beyond the scope of this forum.
Marcello has been pretty abrasive lately because he has been trying to sell his car for a silly amount of money! 40K miles and his car is far from mint, major stress cracks in the buttress areas on both sides and evidence of a front end accident. Wow, you guys are really gonna blow a casket when the 348/355 hits 20K like the 308s in the next 5 yrs. Reality is, too many cars....to many rats, and people who cant afford them in all our ferrari line up. As someone said previous the cheapest ferrari will be an expensive experience. Enjoy the car, and the hell with others, the only thing that hurts me is when we all (brothers of all ferrari models) slam other models and owners....buy the best car you can, and the model you love....cause in your last hour on earth, i dont anyone of us will be thinking....damn...too bad my ferrari is not worth 20 grand more
Yes your so right. I cant for the life of me understand why 348 and 355 owners keep slamming each other. Its not like they owned a TR or something.
