It was an amazing race, I haven’t been on the edge of my seat in a long time. They should soak the track before every race. Now that's what an F1 race be like, EVERY TIME!

    Alonso drove an amazing race.

    Kubica was very impressive.

    Congrats to Button.

What happened to MS's car? Did Heidfeld hit his front suspension?

Fantastic race! Took me a while to watch the whole thing, because I kept rewinding it to see the overtaking moves!

I couldn't agree more, that was the best F1 race I've seen in a while.

I can't believe Alonso went into the wall b/c of a wheel nut!!!!! I would be killing a pit guy

I can't believe schumi missed out on a golden opportunity!

Well, it's wasn't 100% his fault, he was out of the racing-line, and had no tracktion...

Michael still got one point! That is one point more than Alonso!

Ferrari gets 3 points! 3 points more than Renault!

I agree the race was amazing, I blame the team for not giving MS new tires on the last pit stop.

Actually it wasn't a wheel nut. Alonso said it was a driveshaft!

Did one of you guys send this thread title to Dave Dispain (sp?) because it was mentioned about 20 minutes ago on his show.

I wonder if that "missed shift" around lap 34 was the beginning of the end of Alonso's diff/drive shaft attachment.

But if Schumi didn't break the steering until Heidfeld, then what the heck was he doing off course against de la Rosa?

No, I'm not saying "Burn the Witch" -- but every driver gets "brain fade" once in a while. Senna once drove straight into the Armco entering the tunnel when leading Monaco by most of a lap. Of course, back then, the stewards weren't handing out term paper assignments for every dirty look.

Hey!! I just realized: Hand gestures are actually illegal on the Autobahn. Maybe Alonso should be arrested. ;)

Somehow F1 and the modern world just don't seem to fit together.
    A depressing thought, actually.

I did, intermittent computer controlled sprinklers would make it interesting.

Yes, but then there would be teams complaining about Ferrari's advantage in intermittent wet conditions. On several occasions, we've seen the sprinkler system on while testing was going on at Fiorano.
