First-time 360 owner, so I'm sure this is the first of many threads.... Just purchased a 2003 Modena F1, and bought a Thinkdiag 2 based on recommendations I read here. I'm trying to check the PIS, as shifts under load are terribly slow. I have the Thindiag set to metric, and have tried both transmission versions (says it has the 197533 TCU) but get PIS values of ~163, and new clutch position values of ~160. Most of the time the clutch wear comes up at 0%, but I know the clutch has about 10k on it. Once I was able to read a clutch wear of 35%, and I have been able to read F1 pressure and other parameters occasionally. Now, my engine live stream values are all over the place from 4 rpm to 16000 rpm. I've tried key on, and engine running with no difference. Am I missing something obvious with communications, or do I have a faulty Thinkdiag? One other question - my window stick lists a $377 "Upholstered Top" - what exactly is this?
That worked! I had to restart the app twice, but the second time it showed realistic results (PIS at 4.79). Didn't have time to try adjusting it, but hopefully I'm all set now. Appreciate the advice.
