I've posted a few times here and on other forums, so if you've followed my posts, you'll know we’ve had/have a variety of cars in our collection over the years. We’ve driven multiple Porsches (and usually have a few in the stable), along with McLarens, Audis, Lambos, etc. For a while, I hadn't been too excited about any of the current offerings and figured the garages had enough variety. That led me to sell the GT3 since it just wasn't getting much road time.

I decided to go a bit more traditional this time around and picked up a 458 Spider to keep at one of our residences. To be honest, I didn't expect much beyond the usual enjoyment. After all, we’ve got rarer, more exotic, and much faster cars in the collection. But here’s the kicker—we’ve been absolutely taken with it. The 458 Spider has completely won me over, to the point where I'm seriously considering getting another one for our other residence.

I never thought I'd be the type to get two of the same exact car, but here I am, genuinely thinking about it. Has anyone else here done the same? Would love to hear thoughts from others who have found themselves doubling up on the same model.

I like they way you think. I cracked the windshield on my Rosso Corsa 458 Spider eight weeks ago, still waiting on the replacement from Maranello. I was at the dealer for service on my wife's Portofino M. They had a nero daytona 458 Spider that was very, very tempting. Fortunately, someone bought it and took the decision away from me. I have six other cars, but really miss my 458 Spider. Hoping for the windshield replacement this week.

That makes tons of sense to me. I hate driving rental cars when I travel, so being able to drive a car I actually love when I'm away from our regular home would be mega

You could always change it up and get a speciale aperta. Kinda the same... but also kinda not.

Or you can go the other way to a more visceral approach with a 16M
