Thinking about 550....

Hi Everyone,

I am thinking of buying a 550, what would you advise to look for?

They are great cars ....

 

Maintenance history, fresh belts or within 5 years, tires, etc. they are really fantastic solid cars.

 

Agree with the above. The 550 is special and imho represents one of the cars coming out of Maranello that define the brand if you will. If you perform routine maintenance and actually drive the car, these motors are solid and extremely reliable.

 

Super cars for investors and people who like to fix cars themselves. Solid in every way.

I always follow questions about problems people have with their 550s..... Either I got a very special car or the fact that I have 83,000 miles has exempted me from most if not all of these problems.

I have to admit I am a service freak every month when I drive to Las Vegas I drop it at the Ferrari dealer and have them check everything.

All my services are done before they are due !
