Some "firefly" abstract image I found on the web. My car's exhaust lit up like that on a night run recently, hence the nickname. Brad just made it 100% better.
tHERE TElling me that the F1 is beteer than the 6 speed and that it is faster than the 360 f1 shifting wise
yo renee, thats what ive heard and read too. that for later years 02-04 best to go with f1. for anything before that 6 speed.
FOLI JUST CALLED SAID I SHOULD HAVE MY CAR BY THE WEEKEND FWEEERRDDDDDDUPPPPPPPZZZZEN true about quicker shiftts but who cares are you tracking the575 ? and besides its about feeling the car and minipulating it to do what you want cant get that feeling in 6speed
Just noticed that Miller has a sweeeettt Silver 03 575 F1 on the lot. Asking $215 with 3K miles...I'm sure there is quite a bit of play there. Just an FYI... http://ferrari.millermotorcars.com/preowned/index.cfmsFuse=ALT&iVehID=319&CFID=2553625&CFTOKEN=79474727
tru dat. we gotta do a midtown tunnel run late night this weekend! i wonder which tunnel is longer, lincoln/holland/midtown? i think lincoln? anyone know? should we do a field test to see?
yo just spoke with steve daly over at miller motorcars he has an 02 blk/blk F1 being traded in this week he's goin to call me when it is in for a nice test drive.
i honestly don't know what happened with you and FLI but you can probably pickup a brand new 575M with delivery mileage for the same price or a bit cheaper than $225K. who cares about their attitude as long as you get the right deal and are saving money. but that's just my opinion! if i can do anything for you let me know. good luck either way it is a great great car and make sure you get a tubi put on. Hey brad, great news about your car. i guess you told Tom i send you! where is my commission?
Or you could save yourself a 100G's and get an 2001 Silver / Black fully-converted Euro with 6,400 miles. www.sportscarcompany.com
Hey also if you're looking, don't forget to call our friends out at CC -- they have access to all of Frank's stock at Ferrari of Central Florida as well as a ton of their customers' cars that are for sale.... nlh
These guys have a hell of an inventory! So what's the deal with the Euro cars? Any logic for not going after one that checks out clean? It seems to be a pretty big savings over a US Spec version. What is the real downside?
None. You get in low. You get out low. That's all. People claim that they've heard of dealers who don't service Euro's; I've asked a lot of dealers this question, and I haven't found one yet that has refused to do so. Must be that whole "do service / overcharge / get lotsa money" concept. Don't believe the naysayers. Do your research, and save yourself the money with a fully-converted Euro car.
Thanks Vik. Screw the dealers...most are a bunch of rip off artists anyway and if CC is opening up a facility up here in Ramsey 5 minutes from my house, than they'll be the one's doing the service anyway! BTW, anything new from those guys on the facility up here? One of these days I have to get down to CC to see the place...from what you guys say, it's like second heaven!
I'm suppose to be in the city for lunch, but I don't think I will stick around long enough to head out with you guys (may I'll do a LATE LATE lunch?). I'll try to figure out a way to get down there though one way or another.
Keep hearing those guys are "about to open," but haven't seen anything concrete as yet. We're all supposed to be on the invite list for the Grand Opening. Will let you know if I hear anything. I think Keith's got the hookup with them as well.
hey listen if you want i'll pm you my # and if you want to come in late and hang around its no problem.
