Thinking about a change..

Owned both, went from the Gallardo to the 430. Gallardo felt heavier, but with more power and was a bit more forgiving when you really pushed it. The 430 felt more like a go-cart, lighter but not as much low end power. Also with the 430 you had to be a bit more careful as if you pushed the car, you could get into trouble given it was 2WD vs 4WD.

From a driving perspective, I liked the 430 more for back roads with a lot of corners. The Gallardo was better in a straight line given the power and pull of 4WD. Gallardo also received a lot more attention than the 430, although I started to get tired of the question as to why the doors do not open up.

Overall it is hard to say one is better than the other, as they are two very unique cars. One point on the Gallardo is try and stick with 2009+ if you can, as Lamborghini redid the engine, shifting, and a few other things that make the newer cars drive and handle a bit different than the older ones.

Just buy a Gallardo for the summer and see what you think.. you will love it.

Is there a big debate between older G cars when it comes to transmission E gear vs 3 pedal like the F1 vs 3 pedal? I also have a Ferrari but 360 and have been looking at gallardos lately.
