Would appreciate opinions on a car spec'd as follows:

    Exterior: Rosso Corsa
    Transmission: 6-speed
Interior: Nero Dash / Cuoio Interior / Nero Mats

    Shields
    Brake Calipers in Yellow
Stitching upon Request (STC1) - Corsa colored
    Electrically Operated Seats
    Daytona Style Trim
Dual Color Interior (Limited only to Daytona Seat inserts or "ribs") - Rossa (mulling over Black as an option)
    Hi-Fi Sound System
    Rear Parking Sensors
    iPod
    Bluetooth

Think Corsa (red) piping on the seats would be overkill in addition to the red stitching and red inserts, no?

How about Aluminum accents to offset black dash, or would that look too busy?

    Thanks in advance.

That sounds like an excellent color combination, no F1?

Agree those are a must so is the challenge grille IMO. Me personally wouldn't get piping, very oldskool.

The piping would suit the 599 better IMHO.

Yup, don't forget the Challenge grille since it really adds detail to the car.

You may opt to have it retrofitted locally....it'll save you a bundle!
The CF Challenge Grille is a must for a Coupe IMHO.

    My Specs would be:
Scuderia Rosso instead of Rosso Corsa
Rear parking sensor are an expensive options which can be locally fitted for free (just ask them to throw it in).
Shield ask them to throw in.
Stitching I had STC2 on mine. Its a thicker thread...and is sown at a different pitch/angle. Its more outstanding.
    Just my two cents...

    Lung, thanks.

Think I'll stick with Rosso Corsa as don't like the orange shade of Rosso Scuderia.

Will fill you in on pricing when we next speak. Going about it slightly differently.

Of two minds on the stitching, but will think about the thicker thread.

For those that opted for a hi-fi, was the quality of the stereo upgrade worth the price?

    Thanks.

Also enquire about the new red which is coming out on the Scuderia.. rumour its called Rosso Mugello. But may only be out on the Scud first.
There is another thread debate on STC1 or STC2 thread preference. Check it out. Cannot really tell the diff btw the two.
Personally i would not go for the hi-fi upgrade... not worth the money. U will diffinately get a better upgrade on a retro fit set later.
    Just my two cents...

2008 specs will be out in October, I would wait until you see the new options before you settle. Given the Scuderia release, upgrades to the 612 (Sesenta), etc. there are going to be some new options and combinations available.

P.S. - Attended Ferrari Driving Experience in July and I will not buy another Ferrari without Carbon Ceramic Brakes!!

I just picked up my '07 430, and really like the combination of the red stitching and red piping on the tan daytonas (no inserts). Also the stereo sounds surprisingly good (although I'm not sure how much I'll listen to it).

I would take the CCM soley for the fact that there is no brake dust on the rims after a short drive. The standard brakes really do produce a lot
of dust coating even after a few minutes of driving.

Very good point on '08 options. I'd love to have CCB's, but I just don't think they're worth US$40K which is their price here in Singapore.

VERY nice Don. Thanks for posting. Now I'm of two minds. - :D
