I've found an '85 308 that needs some work, and there are parts that I cannot find.
Specifically; window regulator & switch, motors for the side view mirrors, switch on the steering wheel for the lights.
I'd appreciate any ideas on where I could find such.

    Thanks

First of all good choice in showing interest on a QV and second, 308 doesn’t use window regulator instead they have the cable type set up and the cables and motors are still available, third is the switch are also still available, I believe the older BMW uses the same switch and it should be in the cross reference section.

The guts from BMW mirrors fit the 308, just fixed the mirrors on my 84 that way.

Yup, switch too. I tried to buy one a couple weeks ago from bimmerworld but they emailed to say out of stock and no date on when there would be more. I did call the other suppliers, just cleaned up my old one and between that and replacing guts in the mirrors and bad electrical connectors I have mirrors that work for the first time since I bought it 24 years ago! It took a while for mirrors to my the top of the to-do list

I have an '85 and enjoy it very much. Twin Cities Performance (Ferrari dealer...which I assume you know) has done an excellent job with the major and minor service work I've had done. They also handled Classiche for me on that car as well. So, if you decide to take the plunge, you'll have great local support...
