I'm really loving everything about this car. Waiting to see the service records, then PPI! Used 1997 Ferrari 355 For Sale in Los Angeles CA - UP7108823 | Serving Santa Monica, Calabasas, Canoga Park, Beverly Hills & Woodland Hills
Previous owner was an fchatter in SoCal so you could get some info from him. I love this color combo and seriously considered this car about 10 years ago before buying mine. Good luck!
There is a black one on Craigslist for under 50k also. Might be worth looking into. Just saying, and I have not researched that car at all yet.
If you are interested in red/tan there is a 355 TS that is cosigned to San Francisco Motor Sports over in Marin county for sale for $69K. Car has about 22K on it, and from conversations with the owner it has been well taken care of and in excellent shape. I "think" about buying another 355 frequently as well.... I know it would come with a side of divorce as well though! I say go for it!
It's a stunner. Tasteful mods too. Must take off like a scalded cat. Makes me think about that 360 wheel. It's growing on me. ketel
Wow, that's at least a $55k car with $20k worth of good mods on it in a great color combo. If it were available when I was buying I'd have a hard time even looking at another car... If you buy it, I'll take the trip up from Richmond to check it out in person, it's that sweet.
That's a good looking car all the perfect mods. I like the steering wheel better than the 360 wheel I have.
So I was able to track down the guy who traded it in to the current dealer and gather some good intel. I'm still waiting on the records from the dealer. Stay tuned!
"Let me see if its still available." "There's a celebrity looking at it right now" "I'm waiting on a deposit, are you ready to buy it?" "It needs nothing" All I want are the service records, then I will PPI, and buy it for the right price. Why is this so hard?
The sound that the Gruppe M intakes give off is almost as exotic as the exhaust note. The combination is intoxicating. As you increase throttle, it climaxes like sequencial whistling turbos. Or more like the X Wing fighter shooting off its laser cannons. It's cool.
Curious Luke, if it checked out, what would your "right price be"? ( not to worry, I'm chasing a 550.) Do you still have the GTS?
Yes, I still own the GTS. It's not going anywhere. Specifically, for me, this car is perfect. Well modified (I want to keep my GTS totally stock), and the color is really unique. If I bought this car, I would almost DD it. It's not a hugely desirable year, it already has high mileage, and it could be inexpensive. After I'm done enjoying it, I'd sell the exhaust, rims, steering wheel etc, and likely be neutral on the transaction. All that considered, I know what the dealer paid, and I know what it needs. If they made 5k through the transaction, I think we would both be happy. If I could just get a straight answer about the car, that would be a different story.
