These threads though annoying when fake still provide lurkers like myself a lot of good information.

Thanks to all that give their time and knowledge freely! It's appreciated by many I'm sure.

The fake did not provide any good information. The forum members he solicited for advice did that. :)

Agreed. I just meant that these threads still allow us newbies to lurk and learn from those knowledgeable forum members. Even though this guy did confuse 12cyl/8cyl models and was all over the map with his questions at least it was corrected by others.

Well, back to saving for the big day!

If you are an hour away from Seattle, and if that is SOUTH of Seattle then take any prospective Ferrari purchase to Carlo at Alfa Of Tacoma. He knows them and can point out any potential problems.

Hell, I was wondering when you guys were going to figure out he was just a little teenaged troll after about the second page of the thread. "Oh, I might buy this, I might buy that, yada yada yada...." We get turds like that over at the Rennlist board all the time, it doesn't take long to spot 'em.

This is a tolerant and trusting community over here. Nice to see how generous you folks are with advice...

...since I may be needing some.... ;)

Agree with that. There's nothing wrong with getting some attention.
