Looks like a great idea to me.

 

I woundnt do it. To nice a car. Seems like you could build a purpose built racecar that would serve the same function for alot less $$ and you wouldnt be putting your million dollar baby at risk. .

 

Saying that (while I may agree!) suggests you don't "understand" Jim's MO IMO.

I think it's awesome he's even considering it!

now that it's paved all the way up, why not. class structure/placement might be an issue.

zwart would seem an obvious choice...and he can then get rights to the book and the associated photography!!

Well, I did it before it was paved to the top in my 1995 GMC Yukon. You should be able to make it a little quicker, and save room for ice cream at the shop at the peak.
