and i would like some advice. i currently have a non-functional cd radio in the car and non-stock tweeter-sized speakers in addition to the stock speaker placement. my aerial switch doesn't do anything so i guess it ain't workin'. the paint is gorgeous and the interior is clean and sharp. the wheels are curbrash-free, but some of the lugnuts are chipped. the suspension has been powder coated and the engine bay is very clean. i'll post pics when i get home tonight, but i would like to know where/why i can lose points, what judges are willing to overlook, what are must-haves/not haves--a short intro is what i'm looking for. since i don't drive the car much, i might as well show it!

I would think you will get hosed bad, the reason being Ive heard of people losing points for too much of a shine on the aluminum panels under the hood. I would think the wrong finish on your control arms would be a red flag right off the bat. I was considering the same with my boxer which I consider to be a very clean example but the few wrong things on it plus all the things I dont know would probably disappoint me in the end so Im going to make some changes and enter it one of these days.
