I am toying with the idea of getting a 03, or 04 spider. I had a 03 coupe and I liked it alot, I got rid of it when I got my 575. Since it appears the next gen spyder will be some all wheel drive Alfa off shoot, I think this series car will be the last one with any character. I have not driven an 04 the only other Maserati I drove was the GS, how much difference is the CC in the 03 vs 04?

CC should not be much different between 03-04 as most changes are done to these systems by simple software updates. I considered the ride in my 04 Spyder very good without the noticeable cowl shake that was reported in the 2002's. Got rid of car 2 months ago and am really starting to miss it, But since I have trouble keeping a car more than a year or two and such doubt about next generation of Maserati's I decided to move on and concentrate on getting a Ferrari. Should be able to get a very good deal on one. Some lucky person got my loaded 2004 with only 2,500 miles, and 3 years left of warranty for about $65,000

will be tough choice, Got the GT on the Maserati because I got bored with the SMG on my M3, enjoyed the stick on my GT but have realized you can drive faster and better with a computer controlling the clutch. As for color am thinking of going with Azurra California then maybe my employees will not notice I got another car

    scott61,
Where did you buy your car? Did you get it new at Ferrari/Maserati New England? Did you trade your car in or sell it outright?

Yes, I ordered the car from them. Traded car in at IRA Lexus. Am sure I could have done better selling on my own as car was loaded, Skyhook, NAV, Upgraded stereo, Heated seats, Lights, Red brakes, Alum Pedals and even had them put on a Tubi as soon as car came in. Got $60,000 which really came out to $63,000 with the sales tax saving on my new vehicle. Am missing the car now and thinking I made a mistake. Now trying to decide on either a 360 Spider or possible a 90th anniversary Spyder. Anyone thinking of getting a Maserati should do it, I found it to be a great car and had zero problems with it

If you want the 90th Spyder you'll have to move fast as there are very few being produced (200 or less)....

Saw one last week at my dealer; silver with blue fabric roof; I prefer the silver to the blue... nice!
