I have always wanted a real Bentley. I used to have a Continental GT but that car was a disappointment to me...it was in no way shape or form like the Bentleys I remember as a kid.

Used Arnages go for next to nothing...I am thinking of getting an older one for around $50k-$60k with low miles. Is this a bad idea...I saw Jay Leno’s video about his '89 Turbo R and he said it has been completely reliable. Would it be better to just spend $140k on an ‘06 Arnage T w/ 4k miles?

If there are any Arnage owners out there please let me know of your experiences.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Can't comment on the arnage, but my neighbor has an azure. never an issue. arnage is a true bently, but a bit stuffy for my taste...

If you are going for Arnage do everything you can to get '07 (or newer) Arnage T.
Better transmission, better handling, better brakes and 500hp (vs 450 in '06),makes this car truly impressive and and a huge improvement over the older models.
There are some on the market with very low or no miles with asking prices around $160k,in this market you are the king ,so haggle the price down.
Even at $160k it is a hell of a lot of car for the money....

Well yes they made some improvements in 2007, but I am not sure it is going to be worth paying $160k when I could get practically the same car for $50k-$60k. '08 or '09 is the last year of the Arnage so they will only deprecate even more than they already have.

I flip cars a lot unless I really like them so I think I want to buy a cheap one and then if I love it I will probably just buy a new one or a near new one with low miles.

I am hoping that it will be good enough to replace my S63…the Arnage is a completely different car so I really do not know.

I think it would be a fun $60K car... Plus, you can probably sell it in a year for $50K (or more). There are a lot worse ways to spend $10K than driving a Bentley for a year...
