    I hope this does not start a fued, but claying is an abrasive method. Its designed to be. The clay removes wax, shers off polutants, and rail dust. If you clay a car its best to have a polishing done, or you'll have left micro marring on the surface.

    If you truly want to see what your car looks like, inspect it in full sun. Look at the reflection of the sun in the paint AFTER you have washed it or clayed it. I'm highly sure you will find marring ranging from slight to heavy. Here are some photos of what I'm talking about. Think about the physics of light you want the light to bounce back, not be bent by the marring in the paint.
