I love this car, its so much fun to drive, and the driving experience it offers is truly unmatched. It's planted, its tight, and its fast enough to get you in a lot of trouble. I bought the car at the end of 2018 and immediately dropped the engine to do the complete inspection, and major service including the Hill Engineering bits. The brake pump was completely seized and shot. After doing lots and lots of research and a bit of fabrication came up with the Jag conversion kit. Thanks to the trust and interest of the fine folks here on Fchat that gave pre-orders, I was able to start producing the kit for sale. That has also been a very enjoyable experience to help some like minded enthusiasts avoid the Ferrari Tax prices. I removed almost every plastic interior part and did the de-stick. I removed a mess of aftermarket stereo system wiring, and the outdated alpine head unit. Perhaps the best thing I did for the car, and myself was remove the cats in place of test pipes, and removed the air injection system. The test pipes + Tubi on these cars is something of pure enjoyable symphony clicking through the gears. Another thing I came to find out is the issue with the front fenders getting pulled out when turning into a driveway (perhaps a bit too fast maybe) but non the less leaves a mess to deal with. Those flanges have now been rolled up so it will never happen again, and honestly looks better. The latest big ticket item is a complete refreshed trans install.
That being said the paint is not perfect (red), the driver seat bolster is torn (tan), and she's got 70k on the clock. I've been seeing the prices lately and what's available, or not for that matter on the market. I'm trying to get a feel for what I should list this car for. I need to get it out and do a detail so I can take some quality pictures of it.
Anyone have thoughts what a reasonable ask price might be? Also I do still have the cats, and injection system to go with it. Along with a full set of control arm bushing and ball joints for all 4 corners.

I have seen the ones that Beverly Hills has. The yellow one is pretty bad, and the red one might be the closest thing I can use as a reference right now, except that too is very rough and certainly needing a major at a minimum.

Lol ya Texas flood cars are all over the place
Some high end dealers are “washing titles “
Was looking at a Lamborghini about a year ago
Prices right where it should be looked good but history report was full of holes and went on viwiki to find out it was a flooded totaled car
Didn’t say anything to the dealer just walked away probably would have bought it if the price reflected the real condition of the car but after rethinking it just the electrical nightmares that can come up then having to sale it on knowing

    That’s not me I passed

If Beverly Hills Motors sells those 2 Rats they have at those prices you should see 75k to 80k IMHO, depending on over all condition. Interesting market right now.. There's always BAT.

BaT does seem to be doing pretty well for these cars but have also talked with some who have listed and tried to list with them. I would like to avoid it if possible. This is a tough one. I am getting ready to start a new garage build and have to demo the current before starting. That and not being able to take both of my kids for a ride together are the main reasons I'm considering just selling. If I was going to have the space for an additional fun car I would really be thinking to just keep this one. It is so fun to drive.
