    Most T38s have been decommissioned. Their main spar has been sawed through. Those spars are NOT available. Good luck getting one of them in flyable condition.

    Yep! They make the compisites for it around GFK. $2M though is a bit of a ball buster for somethng like that.

    I'm probably the only person who has sat in a Mig 29 on this forum. 1989 first time in North America, the soviets demoed two Mig 29's at my local airshow. It was very cool, after the demo flights, they had them on static display and let people tour the cockpits. The Russians did our show for a few years after. At the 89 show the Russians let a F18 pilot from Canada fly the two seat mig.

    Doesn't that describe the Czech Aero L-39? At least with drop tanks... ~160gph a bit of a bummer but otherwise fits your spec exactly. Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros | L-39 Enthusiasts

    The Talon and Viper are two of the most beautiful military airplanes ever designed. The L-39 is still the "chubby girlfriend" if you ask me...probably okay to ride but not that pretty.
