I'm considering buying & reselling one or more of the cars on the various "Thinking of Selling..." threads.

Trouble is, I don't know which one I should think of buying, followed by thinking of reselling.

Which one or ones should I buy, and at what price(s), and how much should I think of reselling it/them for???

    Looking forward to your thoughts.

599 GTO, SA, 308, oddly the CS doesn't really seem to be moving all that much. Take your pick and flip, or think about it anyway.

Thinking about buying for purposes of thinking about selling can be risky in today's market. I'm concerned that there aren't enough thinking about buyers to match up with thinking about sellers. Without sufficient liquidity in the market, these illusory transactions will never be not completed. The bubble is real, mark my words.

Can I get in on this, maybe slap a 10% commission on either the seller/buyer or both .... I was just thinking about some easy money auction style.

Methinks it's a pretty good idea. My "thinking of selling" thread has already produced 3 interested "thinking of buying" guys.

I'll think I'll be driving a 360 spider this summer.

Buy'em all,… and then sell 'em all back to yourself. But make sure you re-buy them cheap. Then you can think about flipping 'em for a crazy profit.

Make sure you think about how to avoid tax on the resales you are thinking about.

I called a guy and told him I was thinking about buying his car. He said it isn't for sale but I told him I'd give it some thought. He said he thought I was crazy so I told him I thought I'd come over for a test drive. So I show up and I told him I think his wife is hot. Now the guy says he's thinking about getting a restraining order.

I just don't know what to think about some people....

Brilliant, those thinking about selling threads seem to be popping up more often, never could work out the point :)

As I posted in another less cheeky thread about this, I placed a similar ad thinking about selling my 599, and ultimately did sell it and quickly and to an fchatter. Never listed it anywhere else. Perfectly effective. If fchat were more rigid in our requirements I probably wouldn't have sold it yet.

I told English rebel that very thing today when he said he was thinking of selling his 360. I think it might work out.
