    Disconnect battery and follow startup procedure as per manual.

    99% it will clear this out.

    So I opened the quick release on battery but terminal won’t come off. Not much room in there clearly and hard to see. Any tips?

    Got it. Code cleared and so far so good. Will leave on charger overnight and see what tomorrow brings. Thanks.

    I just worked through that same message. Mine ended up being a misfire caused by a spark plug that was fouled from having 2 year old gas in the car.

    Disconnecting the battery from time to time is healthy on any Ferrari even you have no errors! In fact my battery is killed whenever I do not use it, but remember to follow the startup procedure.

    Keep us posted!

    From the WSM:

    Each time the battery is disconnected from the electrical system of the vehicle, all the self-acquisition parameters are cancelled from the ignition/injection ECU. These parameters must be restored before the vehicle is used again, proceeding as follows.

    The self-acquisition function of the Motronic ECUs will only be performed correctly at intake air temperatures above 5 °C. Ensure that the ambient air temperature is not below this value.

    Leave the engine stationary for approximately 10 minutes in the following conditions:

    engine at idle speed;

    water temperature stabilised;

    current consumers switched off (lights, windscreen wipers etc.);

    air conditioner off.

    These preparations allow the ECU to optimise the self-adaptive parameters quickly by preventing irregular engine operation.

    Once you disconnect the battery, you lose all the codes you need for emissions testing. If you have to smog the car anytime soon you'll probably need to take it on a good 6o-70 mile run to get the codes back.

    So my county in Texas doesn’t require smog testing but I will take the run away! Thanks for the info.
