Not from TX but I think....you were being punked or tested. Since when do you need a card along with your style that a black guy favors to go to the ghetto? I've been in similar situations when I wear certian clothes....tell people you can go or do where and whatever the F you wanna do.
I think it must have been a compliment. My old roommates used to say they liked their men with "a little bit of ghetto in them".
