Nice car but in your possession those wheels would never turn as they don't on the one now in your garage!

I really don't want to upset Chris because I know he just got new rims.... but I am coming into possession of another set of 355 Challenge wheels here in the U.S. They are not cheap, but if somebody is seriously in the market, please PM or email me.

They need to be refinished (like all CH wheels), but are straight and true. Refinishing will probably cost about $500 +/- depending on where you live and what crazy color you choose.

The ultimate BLING item for 348's and 355's. True Speedline Challenge wheels. :)

Does anyone know what the 355 challenge wheels weigh naked? (The WHEELS please!) I am also considering the 18inch 360 challenge wheels and they are 19.6lbs front and 22.2 rear. Thanks for any info/help, Scott

    Rear Challenge or rear standard?

Also, FWIW on my Challenge wheels I run:

    275/40/18 rubber on the back
    225/40/18 rubber on the front

We played with a lower profile rear tire, but it just didn't fill in the wheel well enough and looked too much like some of the rubber-band tires you see 430's. Avon M500 are on now, and we'll see how they do. The price was right, so it doesn't hurt to give them a try.

^ read above for edited tire sizes. just got the data from the garage. Also note, stock 348 bolts (55mm under the head) are required. A normal 355 bolt is too short.

Sounds about the right sizes. I have found the Sumitomo HTRZ2s are a good bang for the buck! (They have a great tread design, very similar to the high-end goodyears) They have those sizes, fronts are around 80, and rears are 150. The Kumho MXs are REAL grippy and you can get them in 295 for the rears. (They are also very reasonably priced)

Sounds like maybe the specs Daniel got are a little off?? I seem to remember seeing somewhere the fronts were around 18.5lbs. Oh well, I'll wait and see, Scott

P.S. The Volk/Rays TE37s supposedly are closer to 15lbs!!! Haven't tried to order them though........
