7:00 am this morning and 69 degrees. Today, I brought my new doggie with me on my usual walk. Keep in mind, this is only TEN minutes from the corner of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire BL....TEN! DL
Darth, you just reminded me that I was meaning to check that out. Man, I don't understand how that slipped my mind. Thanks. Oh, what's the best way to get there from Santa Monica? Thanks again, Manny
Basically, it is up Beverly Drive to the end. Remember, Beverly splits off where Coldwater Canyon goes up toward the valley (North of Sunset by the little park). There are signs for the canyon after you turn away from Coldwater. Enjoy! DL
Darth, Is it possible to sit by the lake for a picnic? If so would you possibly be able to direct from Thousand Oaks/Ventura area (taking PCH? ). I would appreciate it.
I haven't been to LA area yet (only SF), are those the "hills" in BH? How much does a condo go for up towards the greenery, if there are any??
Go to: http://www.smmc.ca.gov/ Click on: Park listings Alphabetical Franklin Canyon Park There are directions and a phone # DL
Awesome pics Darth thanks. I will be saving a few of those - I love the lighting at that time of the morning. Having never been there, I just assumed that LA was one big seething mass of humanity and traffic (obviously not). You have a real slice of paradise there. As I type this, wet snow and 3 C here. Unreal
Admittedly beautiful; however, I thought this was going to be a thread packed with scantily clad "actresses" that you have seen at various restaurants behind the wait-counter. C'mon man! Where are the LA babes!? Nick
I guess you missed me waving at your house this morning - I was wondering why I didn't hear any laughing as the MTA drove my a$$ by!
By the way guys - darth only posted one picture of the true beauty in that bunch - his 550 is simply gorgeous! I spent the majority of the day riding shotgun with him last sunday, and his car is amazing. Great color combo, extremely clean interior and great paint. Post more of the beast, Dave!
Thats one beautiful car you have got there. I like the 550 alot more than the 575M, its alot more aggresive in the front. Nice dog to, whats its name? Mr. Maranello Jr?
For a couple minutes you took me a thousand miles away with those serene, beautiful pictures. I even heard the sound of nothingness and maybe a couple birds chirping. Thanks. Also love the dog on the dash, who I'll name 550 Fido...
I took a few shots this morning (from the top) and wanted to share! Notice the little shanties in the background! DL
Wow, LA is small. Why did that guy stand in your way? Did you ask him to move? He looks like a freak. Did he harm you?
