It’s the miles. Have a look at the market and see if there are other cars with similar miles out there. I suspect it will be hard to find. So this is an outlier. My guess is the deal is OK. If you bought it and decided to sell I bet you’re looking at around 175k.

Looks like a good price. Thing is the miles. I would get ppi and closely review car fax and make sure it’s not a rental. I have noticed that ferrari of San Francisco seems to have had a number of higher mileage cars at very competitive pricing. Would recommend getting a couple of years of cpo for peace of mind if you like it.

I may have seen that car in the Ferrari SF showroom last month, did not show half the mileage if so (looked stunning)... hard to beat the classic rosso corsa over tan

Also it could just be me, but when buying a preowned Ferrari, I would personally skew more mileage than less if I had to choose. The fear of the under driven car that has been sitting outweighs the mileage based concern for me in a vacuum, ideally the car has a full service history. I'd also look up common F12 problems and find out if any plague this one (along with a full PPI)

I agree, 26k miles is a decent clip for a 3 year old car so I'd hope to get some sort of general backstory on the car (as stated above making sure it's not a rental etc). I like that it's a later MY FWIW

Great advice to seek out warranty options, I just bought my '14 Speciale and first thing I'm having done is the 1 yr powertrain warranty added for peace of mind

Too many miles for an exotic. I vote potential disaster. A 36-month old car could be sparsely driven but still be 100% reliable. 26k miles and a lot of expensive service is likely coming due. Pony up and get something with less wear, full service records and treated as special.

Thanks for the replies guys. Funny to see this car has been driven almost 9K miles/yr! Almost like a Honda lease vehicle. Kudos to the guy who enjoyed it so much

Here’s the thing. There are people that drive there cars and don’t care about the depreciation and care for them. SF/SV is full of them. The price doesn’t matter to them and they just move on.

If you are looking for a driver, they are out there like this one. The only thing is if you put the same miles on them, it is a hit.

So the market on this car is fair but know what you are buying and what you will have when you are done.

At this price it is a $8/mile. My dealer had one that went the same way but had several owners and the hit was ultimately higher.

BTW I doubt they will go very much lower on price but Ill assume they paid 150K for the car and did 5k work .......

They still want to make their margin.

Either way buy one and drive it. You will not regret it....

Let us know what you do and what they say

Given the volume of low mileage used F12's on the market, this 26000 mile example is a statistical outlier and will be impacted on resale the same way a fugly red/yellow Ronald McDonald or red/blue Superman spec is. It will sell cheap and will take longer to sell given how mileage sensitive used Ferrari buyers are such that the savings of a $188K purchase now will be neutralized when the 2nd owner decides to sell the car in the future.

bah humbug buy the car because your heart is racing and something inexplicable in the loins is telling you to get the car, don't worry about the next guy :)

Especially pre-owned, that may be a walk in the park compared to buying a new Ferrari these days

Easy to be idealistic when you're new to the exotic game brah. Wait until you get in and out of a half dozen or more exotics, you'll see what's da haps. Multiply the bath you took on your mint 488 GTB by 6-8 and trust me, you will be a lot more mileage sensitive on your next used exotic purchase.
