Hey all, I would say this wiring harness on the back of the passanger side relay box got a bit hot. I was driving and the whole car cut off....then started again.....then cut off. I heard clicking from underneath the passanger side and did some roadside investigation to find this thing smoking.

Where do I get another? Or, do I just fashion up a repair. The old one is trashed. It looks as though all of these wired ultimately come togather on this block. Right?

Any help out there on this wiring harness. Does anyone know where to get one? All of these wires just look to tie togather within the same wiring harness plate. Is this right?

    Hi Tim,
This is very common. T Rutlands keeps these new in stock $22.00 + shipping. While corroded connections here are common and will cause a higher draw; you should also check the output of both alternators. You may have a bad regulator allowing one of the alternators to have an unregulated output.

Ok, so I finally got the replacement part from T rutlands and the clips that go on the end. An interesting result....the thing is much smoother and the buzz box is quiet. This thing must have been starved for voltage. A pleasure to drive yesterday and today.
